Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 11, 2026 · Last updated: October 11, 2026
Masar AI Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Masar OS", "we"), provides software for motor carriers. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices. It covers our website, apps and Service.
1. Two roles #
- For our own business (visitors, leads, account owners and billing contacts) we decide how data is used. We are the "business" or "controller".
- For the data our customers put in the Service (their drivers, customers, loads, documents, messages and records) the customer decides what to collect and why, and we process it on their behalf as their "service provider" or "processor". If you are a driver or contact of a Masar OS customer, contact that company first about your data; we will help them respond.
2. What we collect #
From you directly: name, work email, phone, company name, MC and USDOT numbers, role, password (stored hashed), billing contact, messages you send us, demo and contact form details, and information you choose to give during onboarding.
Payment data: handled by Stripe. We receive limited details (card brand, last four digits, expiry, billing postal code, customer and subscription ids). We do not see or store full card numbers.
Customer Data uploaded or created in the Service: company and customer records; driver and applicant details such as name, phone, address, licence details, medical-certificate and qualification dates, pay data, documents and photos; truck and trailer data; loads, stops, rates and invoices; chat and email messages; call and text logs and, where enabled, call recordings and transcripts; reports and audit logs. Some of this can be sensitive (for example licence numbers or drug-and-alcohol records); customers decide whether to store it and are responsible for lawful collection.
Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages and features used, timestamps, error logs, and cookies or similar technologies on our website.
Location: if a driver turns on location in the driver app or a customer connects an ELD, vehicle location and hours-of-service data may be processed. Location permissions are controlled on the device and by the customer.
From integrations you connect: data from services such as ELD providers, accounting software, fuel cards and email, limited to what you authorize.
Public sources: public FMCSA carrier records used to pre-fill company details when you enter an MC or USDOT number.
3. How we use it #
To provide, secure and support the Service; create accounts; process payments and send receipts; send service messages (trial reminders, billing, security, product notices); detect fraud and abuse; improve and develop features; answer questions; market our own products to business contacts (you can opt out); and comply with law. We use Customer Data only to provide the Service to that customer, keep it secure, prevent abuse and meet legal duties, and we do not use it to market to or profile individual drivers. Where helper features use AI providers to draft or analyze content, we send only what is needed and require providers not to train their models on it.
4. Who we share it with #
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share with:
- Service providers (subprocessors) that help run the Service: cloud hosting and database, file storage, payments (Stripe), email delivery, SMS and voice providers, AI providers, maps and mileage, error monitoring and analytics. [List current subprocessors and keep this updated.]
- Integrations you enable, at your direction.
- Professional advisers and authorities where needed to enforce our rights or comply with law or legal process.
- A buyer or successor in a merger or sale, with notice.
5. Cookies and tracking #
Our website uses cookies and similar tools for essential functions (sign-in, security, theme), and, if enabled, analytics and advertising measurement (for example Google Analytics and Meta pixel). We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals where required. You can block cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work.
6. Retention #
We keep account and billing records while your account is active and as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes. After an account ends we keep Customer Data for 30 days so it can be exported, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where law requires longer retention or backups roll off on a normal schedule. Customers control retention of records inside their account, including regulated records they must keep.
7. Security #
We use safeguards such as encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, per-company data separation, audit logs and least-privilege access. No method is completely secure. If a breach affects personal information we will notify affected customers and authorities as the law requires.
8. Your choices and rights #
Depending on where you live (for example California and other U.S. states) you may have the right to know what we hold, access or correct it, delete it, receive a copy, and opt out of sale or targeted advertising (we do neither). To make a request about data we hold for our own business, email info@masar10x.io; we will verify you and respond within the time the law allows and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. For data held on behalf of a customer, we will refer you to that customer. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in them.
9. Children #
The Service is for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
10. International users #
Our Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your data is processed in the United States.
11. Changes #
We may update this policy. We will post the new version and change the effective date; for material changes we will notify account owners by email.
